The Show

I know it sounds bizarre – like, “Wait. You’re planning to expose the ego by parading around on stage? Isn’t that kind of … um … egoic?”
I hear you. But I never said I don’t have an ego. Everybody has one until the day they die from either natural causes or enlightenment. As a (still) very human woman who has traveled beyond the theater of the human mind and lived to tell about it, I know it takes everything—stand-up comedy (especially), storytelling, philosophy, spoofery (that too), quantum physics, you name it—to get the reality of the situation across to other humans.

And the situation is this:

Humans have NO idea who/what they really are. And our totally screwed up,war-ridden, nail-biting, eco-disaster world is the result.

Jesus wasn’t having us on when he said, “The Kingdom of heaven lies within.” It does. But heaven isn’t some fantasy land in the sky. It’s a STATE OF MIND – and it’s definitely NOT the state of mind the human ego gives us.

Which means to change our world from a place that currently um—let’s face it—sucks, to a place that’s worth hanging out, we’ve got to CHANGE OUR MINDS. And if parading around on stage will help do that, so be it. Plus, it’ll be great for my ego!
